Torsion gravity: a reappraisal. (English) Zbl 1082.83029
The work presents a critical review on the role of torsion played in gravity. For this the authors discuss to some extend the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity. They compare this description of gravity with other approaches like, for example, in the Einstein-Cartan theory. The authors conclude that the teleparallel approach is most conclusive and discuss some consequences for gravity.
