On the strong convergence of iterative method for non-Lipschitzian asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1088.47515

The author develops an Ishikawa type iterative algorithm to approximate the fixed points of non-Lipschitz asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings in Banach spaces. The strong convergence of the algorithm is discussed in particular.
