Existence of three nonnegative periodic solutions for functional differential equations and applications to hematopoiesis. (English) Zbl 1187.34119
The authors investigates a system of nonlinear functional differential equations. Using the Legget-Wiliams fixed point theorem, sufficient conditions for the existence of at least three solutions are proved. These solutions have non-negative components which makes them suitable for a hematopoesis model.
