Kloeckner, Benoît Some notions of stratified spaces. (Quelques notions d’espaces stratifiés.) (French) Zbl 1193.57012 Actes de Séminaire de Théorie Spectrale et Géométrie. Année 2007–2008. St. Martin d’Hères: Université de Grenoble I, Institut Fourier. Séminaire de Théorie Spectrale et Géométrie 26, 13-28 (2008). The author presents a concise survey on various notions of stratified spaces. The first chapter contains the necessary definitions and basic properties and types of stratified spaces illustrated on examples. The next chapters are devoted, respectively, to the stratifications of Whitney, stratifications of Thom-Mather, stratifications of Siebenmann and Goresky-MacPherson, and finally, to the stratifications of Quinn. Each chapter contains the suitable definitions, important theorems (mostly without proofs) and some discussion of the topic. The paper ends with a corresponding bibliography. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1173.35005].
