Solution of a strongly coupled reaction-diffusion system by the homotopy analysis method. (English) Zbl 1227.65097
Summary: We obtain the analytical solution for a strongly coupled reaction-diffusion system with initial condition by the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The HAM allows for the solution of the strongly coupled reaction-diffusion system to be calculated in the form of an infinite series with components which can be easily calculated. The obtained results are presented and only a few terms are required to obtain an approximate solution that is accurate and efficient.
