The Laplacian-energy like invariant is an energy like invariant. (English) Zbl 1265.05370

The Laplacian-energy like invariant (LEL) is defined as the sum of the square roots of the Laplacian eigenvalues. The authors demonstrate that earlier bounds and approximations for the ordinary energy can be simply translated into bounds and approximations to LEL.
