Ganesh, M.; Hawkins, S. C.; Hiptmair, R. Convergence analysis with parameter estimates for a reduced basis acoustic scattering T-matrix method. (English) Zbl 1275.65074 IMA J. Numer. Anal. 32, No. 4, 1348-1374 (2012). The main aim of the paper is to establish a robust convergence analysis and to provide practical a priori parameter estimates for a reduced basis acoustic scattering T-matrix method. The time-harmonic acoustic scattering in two and three dimensions is considered. The convergence analysis and the a priori parameter estimates for point-source and plane-wave incident waves also are demonstrated numerically. The proposed approach can be used with any numerical method for solving the forward wave propagation problems.
