Summary: The purpose of this research is to develop a method of calculation of exponential decay rate for a neural network model based on differential equations with discretely distributed delays. The method results in a quasipolynomial inequality allowing us to investigate the qualitative behavior of the model depending on parameters. In such way we showed inverse dependency in changes of exponential decay rate and time delay. An example of a two-neuron network with four delays is given and numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the obtained results.
