A moving finite element method with error estimation and refinement for one-dimensional time dependent partial differential equations. (English) Zbl 0612.65071
A moving finite element method is presented for a time dependent partial differential equation. The authors discuss discretization procedures and algorithms. Several linear and nonlinear examples are illustrated. Results show future consideration and refinements.
