The Mathematical and Physical Society at Charles University 120 years ago. (Czech) Zbl 0511.01022

In this article a short history of the Mathematical and Physical Society at Charles University in Prague from 1860 to 1874 is presented. Also an information about earlier activities of Czech mathematicians and physicists in the middle of the 19th century is given. There are mentioned many scientists who made a contribution to the development of mathematics and physics in Czechoslovakia.
