Application of MIGA to multi-objective optimization in active vibration control. (English) Zbl 1139.74037
Summary: Based on the system reserve energy index as objective optimization function of the structure vibration system, we develop a multi-objective optimal disposition mathematical model which refer to the system control gain and the sensors and actuators placements, quantities, lengths of the active vibration control system, and adopts the multi-island genetic algorithm (MIGA) as optimization strategy. Experiments with intelligent cantilever beam show that the vibration control effects can be very distinct. Hence, we validate the correctness and feasibility of the method.
