Kreisinger, Vladimír; Adam, Josef Magnetic fields in nonlinear anisotropic ferromagnetics. (English) Zbl 0535.73084 Acta Tech. ČSAV 29, 209-241 (1984). Summary: The paper deals with problems connected with the computation of magnetic fields in media with magnetic permeability which has the character of a Cartesian tensor of second order with field dependent components. Relations are presented for the computation of these types of magnetic fields by finite element methods and conditions are given for the convergence of some iteration methods applicable to the solution of equation systems following from these approximations. Computational results derived by the proposed method were verified by experiments performed on a special model from cold-rolled sheets with Goss structure the degree of anisotropy of which depended on the saturation of the ferromagnetics. The agreement of measured and computed field maps and dependences of magnetic flux and induction in chosen parts of the model excited parallelly and perpendicularly to the rolling direction was found to be very good.
