Gurevich, I. L. The flow of a heavy liquid around an infinite system of symmetric profiles. (Russian) Zbl 0539.76015 Tr. Semin. Kraevym Zadacham 19, 45-58 (1983). In this paper the plane stationary circular flow around an infinite periodic system of given profiles symmetric with respect to the vertical axes is studied. The system is assumed to be located in some depth under the surface of a heavy liquid. The existence of a solution of the corresponding mathematical problem is proved for sufficient large Froude numbers, but also for different restrictions on the circulation and the form of the profile. Small solutions are constructed for the regular case as well as for the bifurcation case, when the profile represents a vertical plate of limited length.
