Plans d’échantillonnage progressifs par attributs. Application aux plans normalisés MIL-STD 105 D. (French) Zbl 0541.62087
The paper contains classical results on the sequential probability ratio tests, especially for the binomial and the Poisson distribution. In some tables the sample sizes of the simple sampling plans of ISO 2859 are compared (for $$\alpha =\beta =10\%)$$ with the expected sample sizes of the SPRT. Also auxiliary values for determining the acceptance and the rejection regions are given, all values calculated by the MIL-STD 105 D.
Problems in connection with the approximation of the acceptance and rejection bounds $$A\sim \alpha^{-1}(1-\beta)$$ and $$B\sim(1-\alpha)^{- 1}\beta$$ are not considered. From the viewpoint of the progress of pocket calculators the usefulness of the tables seems to be very small.
