This is a survey of the published work of Jack Kiefer (1924-1981) in areas other than design of experiments, to wit: foundations and decision theory, sequential analysis, inventory and queuing theory, nonparametric tests and related distribution theory, and multivariate analysis. The author discusses the influences on his work and his research style.
