A general approach to lower semicontinuity and lower closure in optimal control theory. (English) Zbl 0549.49005
The paper presents a self contained approach to lower closure and lower semicontinuity in optimal control theory. Essentially this approach is an extension of relaxed control theory. Proofs make use of relaxation in all but one variable and of Jensen’s inequality and Lyapunov’s theorem.
