The computation of Bessel functions on a small computer. (English) Zbl 0556.65008
Author’s summary: A FORTRAN program for the evaluation of the Bessel function $J\sb p(x)$ is presented. The method of computation is based on a new series expansion (using generalized Laguerre polynomials). The features of the computer program are portability and low storage requirement, so that it is suitable for a small computer.
