This little book is intended for a young student who is interested in convex analysis. So it requires only a moderate knowledge of calculus, linear algebra and functional analysis. The organization of this book is good and a large number of exercises in every chapter provide good guidance of the subjects. In addition, the reader will find some recent references in the bibliography (e.g. duality principles and their relations to conjugate functions).
