On generic points in the Cartesian square of Chacón’s transformation. (English) Zbl 0575.28010
We give an example of a compact metric space X and a strictly ergodic homeomorphism of X with unique invariant probability $$\mu$$ such that for each $$\chi\in X$$ ($$\chi$$,y) is generic for $$\mu$$ $$\times \mu$$ for all but countably many y.
