On generic points in the Cartesian square of Chacón’s transformation. (English) Zbl 0575.28010
We give an example of a compact metric space X and a strictly ergodic homeomorphism of X with unique invariant probability \(\mu\) such that for each \(\chi\in X\) (\(\chi\),y) is generic for \(\mu\) \(\times \mu\) for all but countably many y.
