Labbé, Martine Essays in network location theory. (English) Zbl 0576.90023 Cah. Cent. Étud. Rech. Opér. 27, 3-130 (1985). This thesis contains a nice survey on minimax and minimum location problems for a single facility on a network. Also the case of minimizing a linear combination of the distance to the farthest user and the average distance to all users is considered. Finally, the concepts of Concordet and Simpson point and their relation to competitive location theory are discussed.
