A mixed method of the stress-displacement pressure type for solving incompressible plane strain viscoelasticity problems. (Une méthode mixte contrainte-déplacement-pression pour la résolution de problèmes de viscoélasticitè incompressible en déformations planes.) (French) Zbl 0578.73041

Summary: A mixed finite element method of the stress-displacement-pressure type is introduced for the numerical study of incompressible viscoelastic media, whose physical coefficients depend on time. The compatibility condition between the three discrete spaces are fulfilled, though the same kind of shape functions is used for both stresses and pressure.
