Khasanova, A. Yu. An inverse boundary value problem in the theory of heat transport. (Russian) Zbl 0582.76089 Tr. Semin. Kraevym Zadacham 20, 212-219 (1983). In this contribution the problem of the determination of a symmetric profile, around which the potential flow of an incompressible liquid flows, is studied. At this the temperature on the profile and the density of the rate of heat flow are known; the complex potential is unknown, the circulation equals zero. The problem under consideration is solved by establishing a relation between the potential of the velocity and the arc abscissa of the profile and then reducing it to the well known problem of the construction of a contour with respect to the distribution of the velocity on it.
