A generalized Hankel convolution. (English) Zbl 0592.46038

A Hankel-convolution operation is defined in the classical sense of Hirschman and Cholewinski. In this paper, the author extends this definition to a class of generalized functions analogous to that introduced by Zemanian. Algebraic properties of the convolution are examined and existence and significance of an identity element are also discussed.
