Neittaanmäki, P.; Tiihonen, Timo Sensitivity analysis for a class of shape control problems. (English) Zbl 0592.49005 Z. Angew. Math. Mech. 65, No. 5, T317-T319 (1985). Sensitivity of shape control problems of systems, governed by a particular variational inequality over the integral domain \(\Omega (\alpha)=(0,\alpha)\times (0,1)\), is studied. It is shown, by numerical tests, that by changing \(\alpha\) it is possible to find shapes that decrease the cost functional by 30 %.
