Approximate Riemann solvers and numerical flux functions. (English) Zbl 0597.65071
The authors consider the question of approximate Riemann solvers for one- dimensional scalar conservation laws. For a general class of consistent numerical fluxes, approximate Riemann solvers are built and studied.
