On inflection points of the plane quartic with two nodal and one flexnodal points. (English) Zbl 0613.14020
A flecnode of a curve is a point at which a node and an inflexion coincide; that is, one of the tangents at the node has intersection multiplicity at least four with the curve at that point. The rational quartic C with two nodes and one flecnode P is investigated. It is found that there are four inflexions of C other than P and they lie on a line pair through P.
