KAIRUAIN-algorithm applied on electromagnetic imaging. (English) Zbl 1290.78010

The author proposes a regularized algorithm of Newton-type to be applied to an inverse scattering problem for electromagnetic waves. It is a Kaczmarz algorithm iteratively regularized using the approximate inverse for solving nonlinear systems – KAIRUAIN, in short. The convergence and stability of this KAIRUAIN-algorithm is studied, and a reconstruction method for electromagnetic imaging is obtained. Moreover, numerical tests using real data are presented.
