Dérivation de modèles généralisés de poutres en élasticité par méthode asymptotique. (Derivations of generalized models for linear elastic beams by asymptotic expansion method). (French) Zbl 0627.73015
The asymptotic expansion method is applied to the Hellinger-Reissner variational formulation of linear elasticity theory in order to derive some relations of isotropic, homogeneous, linear higher-order beam theory pertinent to different levels of approximation. The physical meaning of some geometric and static variables occuring in the higher-order theories is discussed. In this short note no complete theories are given, but the reader is referred to more extensive publications of the authors.
