## Observers for discrete singular systems.(English)Zbl 0633.93025

This note is concerned with the design methods of observers for the discrete singular system $$Ex(k+1)=Ax(k)+Bu(k)$$, $$y(k)=Cx(k)$$, placing special emphasis on the problem of state reconstruction and minimal-time state reconstruction. It is shown that for a singular system finite poles may be moved to infinity by state feedback and the state may be reconstructed by causal observers.
