Le Dret, Hervé Modélisation d’une plaque pliée. (Modeling of a folded plate). (French) Zbl 0634.73047 C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 304, 571-573 (1987). (From author’s summary.) The paper shows that for a thin folded plate the solution of a three-dimensional linear elasticity problem converges (strongly in H 1) to the solution of a two-dimensional model as the thickness goes to 0. The mathematics model studied consists of two plate equations coupled by their common edge.
