Model matching of 2-D multi-input multi-output systems. (English) Zbl 0635.93042
The model matching problem for 2-D multi-input multi-output systems is formulated and solved. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of causal and stable solutions are established. A design procedure for finding a stable causal solution is given. The method presented is an extension for 2-D systems of the method given by V. Kučera and the author [Syst. Control Lett. 1, 321-325 (1982; Zbl 0489.93038)] for 1-D systems.
