How to solve algebraic equations by differential equations. (Slovak) Zbl 0637.65046
The paper is a semielementary presentation of the main ideas of the homotopy-continuation method for solving the equation \(F(x)=0\) where \(F: {\mathbb{R}}^ n\to {\mathbb{R}}^ n\) or \(F: {\mathbb{C}}^ n\to {\mathbb{C}}^ n\). The paper contains also a brief historical sketch of the subject and some general suggestions concerning the numerical realization of the method.
