Representations of cyclically ordered groups. (English) Zbl 0654.06016
The authors describe sufficient conditions for the representation of cyclically ordered groups and prove that this representation is unique up to isomorphism. They also recall Swierczkowski’s theorem. In section 4 they introduce the notion of a c-convex subgroup of a cyclically ordered group. The definition of c-convexity is formulated in such a way that in the particular case of linearly ordered groups it coincides with the notion of convexity.
