On fuzzy proper maps. (English) Zbl 0654.54005
The authors investigate the fuzzy topological version of proper maps (also called perfect maps). These maps have earlier been studied in fuzzy topology by K. K. Azad [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 82, 297-305 (1981; Zbl 0474.54006)]. The paper contains some intersting results such as: “A fuzzy topological space (X,T) is F-compact (in the sense of R. Lowen [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 56, 621-633 (1976; Zbl 0342.54003)] if and only if the map f: \(X\to p=\{x_ 0\}\) is fuzzy perfect.
