Homogeneous denumerable Markov processes. Revised ed. of the orig. Chinese ed. (English) Zbl 0662.60002
Berlin etc.: Springer-Verlag; Beijing (P.R. China): Science Press. x, 282 p. DM 128.00 (1988).
The book consists of five parts. Parts I and II deal with theoretical foundations (construction of homogeneous denumerable Markov processes). Parts III and IV are devoted to the study of various properties of a Markov process (Martin boundary theory and Q-processes theory). In part V, the qualitative study of Q-processes and the construction of all Q- processes for a given Q-matrix is made. This book is a summary of the research results obtained by the authors in the recent years.
