The author considers the two-dimensional stationary isothermal semiconductor device equations. He uses a Dirichlet tesselation and one point quadrature to obtain a discretization of Poisson’s equation and a generalization of the Scharfetter-Gummel discretization of the continuity equations. No actual examples are given.
