This paper focuses on an important topic in nonlinear steady waves in water – shoaling waves. The paper is very well and clearly written. In this paper, the Fourier approximation method and the Newton method are used for modeling and simulation of fully nonlinear steady waves. Results of simulations of shoaling waves are compared with experimental data and they produce a good agreement with experiments.
