Algebraic properties of the 3-state Potts model. (English) Zbl 0667.15027

The purpose of this note is to report on further progress in the algebraic approach to Potts models as compared with the work of T. T. Truong [Clifford algebras and their applications in mathematical physics, NATO ASI Ser. C Vol. 183, 541-548 (1986)] and the author [J. Phys. A, Gen. 19, 1469-1476 (1986)]. The generalized hyperbolic functions are shows again to be a structural ingredient of these models.
