On an example of Blinov. (Russian) Zbl 0675.34009

I. N. Blinov [Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. Mat. 31, 349-354 (1967; Zbl 0166.345)] set up an example of a quasiperiodic triangular system with almost resonant mean value, that cannot be equivalent to a constant system. In the present paper, the author studies this example, giving the “normal form” for such a system. The geometric difficulties of its reduction to a constant system are also pointed out: it is proved that if the formally equivalent constant system allows two invariant submanifolds, the non-autonomous system allows only one.
