Sur les sentinelles des systèmes distribués. Conditions frontières, termes sources, coefficients incomplètement connus. (On the sentinels of distributed systems. Situations where boundary conditions, or source terms, or coefficients are incompletely known). (French. English summary) Zbl 0681.93005

The author continues the study of “sentinels” for distributed systems, a notion which was introduced by himself [ibid., No.16, 819-823 (1988; Zbl 0664.93041)], where incomplete initial data was considered.
In the present note, the author discusses cases where boundary data, coefficients of the operators, or the domain, or the source terms, are only partially known. The method to construct “sentinels” is based on a technique to solve problems of exact controllability, the so-called Hilbert uniqueness method.
