Summary: We begin by presenting a generalization of the Osher scheme for computing flows with the Euler equations, for flows of mixed, ideal nonreactive gases of spatially variable mass fractions. We then generalize this solver to the case of a real gas in equilibrium. The method is tested on the Riemann problem and an application to a jet problem is presented. The method is also tested on reactive flows: various shock tube problems and detached shock.
