Another approach to the classical calculus of variations. III. (English) Zbl 0693.58005

The article concludes the previous investigations of the same author on formal analysis of the most fundamental concepts of the classical calculus of variations and consists of a brief overview of the general theory and several examples devoted to the interrelations between the Lagrange and the Hamiltonian approaches. Complete proofs and some other results will be published elsewhere.
