Optimization of unimodal monotone pseudoboolean functions. (English) Zbl 0707.90074
Summary: Unimodal strictly monotone pseudo-Boolean functions and unimodal monotone pseudo-Boolean functions having constancy sets are investigated. Employing the obtained properties of pseudo-Boolean functions, regular algorithms for optimization are constructed. Estimates of efficiency of the suggested algorithms are also obtained.
