The Kirsch problem of the stressed state of a rectangular plate with a hole is studied in the dynamical statement. The problem is reduced to a hyperbolic system of eight equations, which is numerically integrated by using an explicit finite difference scheme based on the characteristic properties of the system. The stressed-deformed state of the plate before its fracture is analyzed and the zones of stress concentrations and possible cracking are found.
