Summary: This paper opens up the equivalence relation in algebra, using a topological concept, the grey information space (or the grey influence space) such that the grey factor space is developed. The metric space and the grey relational space refer to a special case. Some definitions, propositions and theorems concerning the aforesaid spaces are proposed.
