Measures of entropy in the theory of evidence. (Spanish. English summary) Zbl 0731.62015

Summary: The aim of this paper is to define global measures of uncertainty in the framework of Dempster-Shafer’s theory of evidence. Starting from the concepts of entropy and specificity introduced by R. R. Yager [Int. J. Gen. Syst. 9, 247-260 (1983; Zbl 0521.94008)], two measures are considered: the lower entropy and the upper entropy.
