[For the entire collection see Zbl 0732.00007.]In diesem Übersichtsartikel werden Ergebnisse über biholomorphe bzw. eigentliche holomorphe Abbildungen zwischen streng pseudokonvexen Gebieten dargestellt, deren Beweise auf der “Scaling”-Methode beruhen.Im ersten Abschnitt wird die Idee der “Saling”-Methode erläutert. Sie wird dann exemplarisch zum Beweis des Wong-Rosay-Theorems benutzt.Abschließend wird die Randregularität biholomorpher bzw. eigentlicher holomorpher Abbildungen untersucht. Folgendes Resultat wird gezeigt: jede eigentliche holomorphe Abbildung \(f: D_ 1\to D_ 2\) zwischen streng pseudokonvexen Gebieten \(D_ 1,D_ 2\Subset\mathbb{C}^ n\), deren Rand zur Klasse \(C^ m\) gehört, ist automatisch in \(C^{m- (1/2)-0}(\overline D_ 1)\). Bemerkt wird, daß dieses Resultat scharf ist.Schließlich wird ein analoger Regularitätssatz für stetige \(CR\)- Abbildungen zwischen streng pseudokonvexen Hyperflächen vorgestellt.
