I 314, No. 5, 349-354 (1992). Summary: This note deals with the diffraction problem of an electromagnetic wave by a “dissipative” body with high permittivity and permeability. The problem is solved using boundary layer expansion inside the body. Boundary layer terms of order 0 and 1 are computed and global estimates for error terms and related physical expressions are given.
