The decoupling of multi-channel non-linear time-varying systems by derivative feedback. (English) Zbl 0772.93041
A nonlinear time-varying system \[ \begin{aligned} \dot X & = f(t,X)+B(t,X)u,\quad X(t_ 0)=X_ 0\\ y & = g(t,X)\end{aligned} \] is considered. The problem is to provide regulation \(\lim_{t\to\infty} y(t)=v\), (where \(v\) is a given vector) in such a way that each channel transient exhibits a desired behavior as \(y\) tends to \(v\). The authors propose a solution based on the control method with output derivatives. The procedure works even if the information about the plant and external disturbances is incomplete.
