The authors present a new projection algorithm in the adaptive control of a deterministic autoregressive process. Two new results in the convergence of adaptive algorithms by using the maximum possible overshoot are presented. The main results of the paper are two theorems which prove the existence of a uniform bound of the rate of convergence in the estimation of the parameters of the process.
